Sarah Brightman: La Luna        (0 of 1 found this review helpful)
  May 17, 2014

This is a great combination of classical and pop tunes performed in Sarah's inimitable style. Very immersive and discreet surround mix. Vocals come from the front three speakers and instruments - particularly orchestral passages from everywhere. Unfortunately, almost impossible to find at any kind ... more

The best way to describe this Blu-ray is smooth. It's fun finally having a studio version (in surround) of this classic Concerto. The SACD is cleaner, warmer, and simply breathes better; whereas the gold disc seems darker and more veiled. I tend to opt for surround SACD's, but as far as stereo goes this disc has excellent sonics. ... more

Very impressed with this SACD. Just received it and compared to my MFSL gold disc of this album. The SACD is clean, warm, and just breathes better; whereas the gold disc seems darker and more veiled. Its exciting to have more SACD's coming our way. Would love to see Teaser and the Firecat next :) ... more
