That's three votes for Parasound, and one for Emotiva. Thanks guys.

The Parasound owners are passionate about their amp's!

As I type this, Audio Advisor is showing the Halo A 52 5.1 amp, factory refreshed for $1,687.50 + shipping. I am sure that if it was reconditioned by Parasound, their usual warranty will be in effect.

A note at the bottom of the Audio Advisor webpage for the Halo A52 refurbished says Parasound products cannot be shipped outside the USA.

I am not a member of Audio Advisor, so that explains why it would not give me a shipping option when I tried to figure out the shipping costs.

Red Rose Music offers a multi-channel integrated amp, the M1. It is a Mark Levinson (the man, not the company) product.

There is no membership at Audio Advisor. It's just an online retail outlet. Call them if you do not get what you need online.

I have a Parasound HCA 2205. It's not up to the Halo series, I know, but it has done me well.

Anyway, Rammie, Summer homes, Winter Chalets, etc. Gee, it must be nice to have that much disposable income.

Winter chalets........oh well!

Yes, and all that disposable income is presently going into fixing (repairs) up my summer home!

So you travel and I content myself with the simple life!

It's called work...I travel because my work calls for it. The saddest thing is I spend more time in client offices than anything else. I could never afford going to these places on my own dime, believe me.
