I re purchased and only had to pay $3.00 more from a different vendor and this time I emailed vendor asking to confirm that it is mch and I do not want stereo.

By the way, I did listen to the stereo SACD last night and it is great, but mch is going to be better.

You better believe it, bro. The mch version kicks ass!

How far behind can brother Edgar be?

Did you receive your "goodies" from Elusive Disc yet?

Brett, I'm watching on the news about the deluge of torrential rain pounding Japan (20+ inches). I sincerely hope you're keeping your head above water.

And MORE is expected. Sure hope you have a 'fashionable' rain bonnett to repel the moisture!

KYAA!

BTW, the DTS Entertainment 5.1 of Edgar Winters' "Jasmine Nightdreams" sounds simply amazing on my main system. Great immersive mix.

Thanks for your concern! I'm safe, but it's a huge mess over here. The rain has been coming down incessantly everyday for 2 weeks. I was wondering when Noah's Ark was gonna stop by and pick me up. This morning Tokyo is finally getting a breather. My neighborhood seems to be OK, but some of my friends don't have power or (ironically) water.

Some Edgar in surround sounds good. Just what I need to lift my spirits up.

Getting back to Japan, have you gotten any of Kuniko's performances? http://www.hraudio.net/showmusic.php?title=7099 The immersive surround is fantastic.

Glad you're safe.

Yes, I do have the fantastic Kuniko Reich SACD.

Sadly, I think Linn has ceased SACD production altogether in deference to downloads.

Don't let the rain get you down. We're finally getting some much needed rain on the East Coast.

Another Linn treasure....but stereo only (should decode well in Prologic II) Perfect Houseplants: New Folk Songs

Linn not making SACDs? Now that is depressing!

Houseplants is a great little album, but you know...I don't think I've tried it in DPLII. Now I've got something to look forward to. (^_-)v

And I've got a cool little 5.1 jazz mix for you... http://www.hraudio.net/showmusic.php?title=7420

Some of the other pieces are a little more avant-garde, especially with the use of the string quartet. But I think it's a wonderful fusion of jazz and classical styles.

that must then have been very very recently, as not even two months ago I bought Kuniko's latest (absolutely exhilarating) http://www.hraudio.net/showmusic.php?title=10549
which has been out since only this summer.

I may have spoken prematurely, fausto. LINN did release their SACD Sampler #8 in July 2015 which is NOT yet listed on this site.

BTW, thanks for the heads up on the latest Kuniko SACD release.

Friday Night: And you know what that is my friends.

Warming, well its 95 degrees in San Mateo, my self up with social lubricant. That sounds very disgusting, I mean, getting a heat on with alcohol.

First off, oh my God Brett, I have been looking at videos of rain in Japan, not cool. I am glad you are in a good space.

I am warming up my speakers with an all RBCD heavy night, first LA Guns first album, who doesn't like "The Ballad Of Jayne", and then the brand new:

RBCD Gary Clark Jr, The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim. The artwork on the CD is very cool and old school, like a Miles cover, very 60's.

RBCD Scorpions, Return To Forever. Awesome disc, straight up classic sounding Scorp's, highly recommend.

Thanks Ralph for steering me in the right equipment direction.

And Derek for all the download tips.

My apologies for not having an SACD night, but I must confess, SACD is sometimes just old music and I need new music and if you are Rock than RBCD is my only option. That's where super duper good machines come into play.

And I have been holding back, but the new site really sucks, and I have been trying hard to use it and go with the flow, but it sucks. I have a list of reasons but nobody really cares. It is what it is. I look at QQ every night but that kind of sucks to because they take a forum topic and blah blah, talk it to death.

Gary Clark Jr, new RBCD disc, I really dig it man.

I got a lot of ants that I am dealing with, there looking for water. We need a Japanese Bridge, Japan to California, aqueduct.

How you all doin, I'm feelin fine.

The sun is out today and things are heating up here, too.
But Tokyo woke up to a huge jolt with a M5 earthquake at 5:50 am. Just what everyone needed. Geez! When it rains, it shakes! (@_@)

Sadly, I agree with on the new site. Anyway, I don't know what more to say about it.

Living in Koriyama, Fukushima as we did for over 6 years, I remember earthquakes often, and of course if we had been there in March of 2011, we'd be victims of the fallout. Lots of friends there are dealing with it still.

Life in Tokyo clearly has its ups and downs Brett and earthquakes is one if the BIG downsides. Living in Glasgow as I do, with its fairly precipitous climate, all I need to put up with is rain (it rains a lot) and the Scottish midge population, who must outnumber humans by an immense ration.

I hope you're able to remain happy, contended and sure-footed when all around seems otherwise. :)
