I don't know if I have to give a review of the music, as this is in the Top 10 of the most essential jazz albums. This session is good but overrated in my view, probably because of the all star linup with Chet Baker and Paul Desmond. A very good but too short (33 minutes) 1957 session of Gil Evans' "small big band", which includes some star soloists such as Steve Lacy and Lee Konitz.
