This is certainly the best issue of the mono version you're going to find anywhere - great tighness in the bass and sheen of treble. As with most everything Analogue Productions, they really nailed the sonics right on. Excellent tonal balance and a great rendering of depth in the recording. The tape they are using is bit odd in the way it was mixed. They cymbals, piano, bass and trumpet sound great, but the snare is overly prominent and has been EQed with quite a bit of midrange.
