| Oh right - of course. Hell of a piece of electronics, that thing. Still, to build a multichannel channel system around the (3-channel) 6B, with two more channels of amplification and a multichannel preamp(/processor) of corresponding quality, would have cost much, much more than the Linar. | That is a strange sounding recording, isn't it? Sort of "distant." I doubt that's the result of the 4D recording process, though. There's nothing particularly experimental about 4D, from what I can tell. It's mostly about reducing analogue signal runs.
