I’m not a Steely Dan fan. Don’t remember what inspired me to buy the DTS release of Gaucho – maybe because it was readily available, or cheap. Load this disc and your multi-channel player will indicate two tracks. Two? Yes, tracks 4 and 11 are the only multi-channel tracks on the album. What an awful album. 8-(

After learning that this SACD had been dropped from MoFi's production, I chased it for months and months, back when Tower was still in business . . . finally decided to bite the bullet and paid about twice MSRP for it. Like many of you I'm sure, I have a lot of 60s and 70s rock on LP. I seldom play these records - not from the inconvenience, but maybe because I'm tired of hearing this stuff! Some of it hasn't aged all that well, either.

| Having trouble with some of my SACDs, to which one of you may have some advice. During the last track or two the player starts skipping, a second or so at first, then several seconds, then stops; the time indicator then shows 00:00:00.
