The big problem that this Japanese company has had is that they are unable to get a North American branch that is capable of re-aligning and servicing these. | Boy, I have a Sony SCD-1 (that I bought in 1999) and I've never had to mess with the laser or any other mechanical parts at all! Still works perfectly. Unfortunately, it still takes about 45 seconds to load an SACD and it still plays only 2 channel SACD's..... ... more | |
