| Hi Larrymcl. I have both the Mofi sacd and the dvd audio. Although I almost always like the sacd better..not so with this comparison. Mofi tends to master flat and some of the sacd sounds this way. The Dvd Audio is mixed beautifully and sounds awesome. If you have a way to Dvd Audio I highly recommend thtis version. Cheers, Rembrandt ... more | |

| Gentleman. If any of you are looking for the best sacd version of Kind Of Blue I would seriously recommend the two channel Japanese version from 1999. This version also includes the additional alternate track of track 5. 0ddly the original American sacd was mastered from the original tapes as is the Japanese version. | Hi. I'm glad you feel the new versions are fantastic as well. They are better in every category of levels. I still respect Mr. Sax's versions but not as much. | Howdy. I own both the original Analogue Production version and the shm-sacd's. Doug Sax did a very good job with the earlier versions but the new Universal Japan sacd's are really exceptional.
