Although not one of my favorite piano pieces, its pure sound makes it pleasant to listen and enjoy. Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy offers a great performance articulating every sound in ideal timing. I guess this is the only SA-CD I regret buying, the sound quality doesn't honor DSD recording, it just sounds like a well recorded conventional CD. This is my favorite album of Keane so when I saw the SA-CD version of it I didn't hesitate to buy it. The vocals came from the center speaker backed by the two rear speakers which emit realistic sounds that make you believe Tom Chaplin is singing right in your living room. Although this is only in Stereo DSD sound still is one of my favorites to listen to. To appreciate Beethoven's masterpieces they have to be played with clear and define sound that can capture every instrument apart from each other to really enjoy this classic piece.
