Every Analogue Production Blue Note SACD remaster I have had the pleasure of hearing sonically betters (and by a considerable margin) every RBCD (including the recent Rudy Van Gelder remasters). Wolf359, I also bought initially into DVD-A and I have no regrets as I built up quite a collection of popular multi-channel discs which together with the small amount (relative to classical) available on SACD have bolstered my POP selections. And yes, I did omit the Laserdisc vs RCA's dreadful picture disc fiasco with that thick oil~like lubricant ... more
The Genesis SACD boxes

It is ironic that the last boxed set released (consisting of the earliest Genesis material) DID sound the best and was wondering if they used a different converter to re~master onto SACD. The later performances do sound tizzy but every once in a while the LFE kicks in so all is not lost. I am just thankful that Genesis saw fit to re~master this ... more
