This is my first James Taylor SACD. The Multi-channel listening expereince got off to a rocky start with "Your Smiling Face". The vocal was very much lost in the center channel. Comparing it to lp and redbook, it was the worst version I'd ever heard. Thankfully, from there, things just got better ... more
This is an amazing sacd in Multi-channel format. I would venture to say it is the first I have heard which truly takes advantage of the format. (A close second is DSOTM) I love the overall feel of an early seventies English folk album coupled with all of the mixing/sampling/electronica. More than ... more
