After being fascinated by her Bach and Tchaikovsky recording, I bought this one. Fischer/Kreizberg managed it again. Both great and not-so-great players have recorded these works in their own style. Notable recordings of them have been made by Henryk Szeryng, Yehudi Menuhin, Jascha Heifetz, and Nathan Milstein to name a few. But there's no definitive one. Although I knew she is a renowned world class violist. I was skeptical about buying this because of the unusual programming.
