| Didn't someone ask recently about DTS discs? I just discovered that possess one, stuck it on, was offered a choice of DTS surround or PCM stereo, chose the former and it's now playing beautifully (at 48). ... more | |

| Must give it a lash. However I have another HDCD that I'd forgotten about -Barb Jungr sings Dylan- which I just stuck in and I have to say, I've never heard it so good. Of course, this may have something to do with the fact that it's a Linn (HD)CD and their recordings of people going shopping would sound good. ... more | |

| Yes, indeed. It's actually a Beach Boys 2fer and it is probably the only HDCD that I possess, but it really does sound great. Lot of Linn SA-CDs going on ebay. I bagged one for a couple of € and was amazed when it arrived -it was packaged from Linn themselves!! So, this seems a cheap way to get a lot of their excellent products. ... more | |

| Got home, put in one of my very few HDCDs into the PS3/STRG-910. Sounds wonderful but as it's being played back at 176 like any redbook, how do I know it's decoding the HDCD? Nothing onscreen to indicate this. ... more | |
