Thanking wehecht for his review, let me just point out that the Peer Gynt Suites were NOT extracted from the Complete Peer Gynt, recorded earlier. They were recorded anew in the version that Grieg himself made. For obvious reasons, I cannot grade my own SA-CD, but I do like it immensely... Best - ... more

This is because some distributors release the SACD:s immediately upon getting them, whereas others wait until they see the reviews-to-be-printed, before deciding how many to order. No, I haven't. As a matter of fact, I was 2 days early. Our official release date is the 10th in every month. By that time, we have had the SACD:s in stock for 1-2 months, and sent out the review copies to our distributors. But we do not advertise them on our own homepage until we are satisfied that most distributors already have them in stock. I ... more

No, we don't edit them separately. So far you're right. But we treat the stereo and the mch layers totally differently. The editing per se is not the main part of the post-production work and yes, we do take our time to listen and listen again, in order to really take out the last ounce of the material at hand.
