I have only compared the HD DSD stereo programme with the 1979 Stereo MFSL Half Speed Master Lp.
and, have not compared thethis SACD version with the 1994 PCM remaster RBCD nor original PCM master for RBCD..

This disc continues Eighty-Eights/Village history of quality recordings. I highly recommended this disc if you enjoy jazz. Richard Bona's electric bass shines through. I can understand tonymn's remarks. . .there have been many many reissues of this classic jazz album. It was not until the 1992 Mastersound SBM "Gold" CDs they got the timing of the tracks on side 2 corrrect . . . then in 1999 they included the alternate take of . I wonder if EMI Classics will go the same way as Teldec and Erato..
Warner are known for pop/ rock titles, not classical nor jazz.
Also what will happen to the Blue Note titles?
