| You mean that you heard Mahler's 5th by the Budapest Festival Orchestra and Ivan Fischer ? I think Channel Classics lets the orchestra perform a piece several times (during foreign tours etc.) and records the work immediately afterwards (avoiding extra rehearsals merely for the recording) BTW, where did you attend this concert? ... more | |
