That's clear : the remasters have too much dynamic compression. (nothing to do with data compression) It is the plague of pop/rock mastering for 10 years. (search "loudness war" in wikipedia). But for Genesis, I wonder if SACD is relevant, because their sound has always been very poor, in vinyl LP, as well as in RBCD 80's digital remasters. Listen ... more

It is easily available here in France. I purchased it in a brick and mortar shop (also available at amazon.fr). Very good album. Superb interpretation, dynamic, sensible.
