Ok! It were 6 days!!
The sound is flat in all directions!
Again, attention to the volume knob is required, the modulation is on the high side!
The tonal balance is fair,but it tends to bright up! The sound packs between the speakers without deepth, although it's smooth! I remember the vinyl edition ... more |

Well, when i saw this album announced by Mofi in SA-CD format, i instantly imagine an edition of This Mortal Coil's, Filigree and Shadow in SA-CD by Mofi...Ok it was just an idea, but Surfer Rosa was always a delayed aquisition, having Doolittle and Bossanova in standard cd editions by 4AD, this ... more |

The first Genesis post Peter Gabriel work!Like Wind and Wuthering the sound is sweet detailed with good soundstage, but the tonal balance wont get in favor of this edition compared to the olders cd editions! I didn´t see any opinion for this reissue from users of the sa-cd site!
I like the new sound on this edition!Its soundstage is wider and deeper, its more detailed and well balanced, its less prone to treble excess than the other two cd editions, with exception to the vinyl edition (1976/77)which ... more |
