| I agree, especially with trntbl, with many of the comments here. Many classical music record houses, good ones like Alia Vox, Channel Classics, etc., keep coming out with new great quality SACDs which is a real pleasure to listen to. SACDs which can be with us for quite a while still. Personally I would do with more opera and jazz as well but ... more | |

| I use both. If there is a good MC recording I listen to it, otherwise I listen to stereo. And since I often enjoy my SACDs late in the evening through headphones the stereo layer is vital for me. ... more | |

| I would like to upgrade to a vacuum-tube final amplifier possibly coupled with a solid-state AV processor but, as far as I can see, most amps are stereo and I don't want to give up multichannel SACD or home theatre, although the latter is far less important for me..... | I also hope the rumours of SACD's upcoming demise are "grossly exaggerated". As others, obviously not that many worldwide, I do hear the difference......
