Performance:  Sonics:
G. Cole vcl, M. Pezzenati perc & vib, Fone 2000.
Very uncommon versions of 13 jazz standards, the singer accompanied by percussion instruments only including vibes, marimba, etc., a line-up that might be thrilling. But the guttural singing with the Italian accent is not everyone`s thing and the sophisticated interpretations do not capture me. Although the recording was done with great care and the sound is good, it does rather bore than excite me.
