Performance:  Sonics (S/MC): /
Nothing to add to the previous review about the artistic performance, which is always great when DK sings old standards. But the MC sonics are awful: her voice is comming from the five channels instead of the front one(s). Stereo sonics are better, even if they are not the best we can have on jazz SACD.

Performance:  Sonics (S):
I read the other reviews after I had ordered this SACD and was expecting to be unimpressed when it arrived. I was surprised! I have the CD version and enjoy it, but this SACD is markedly better in sound quality. Yes, instrument and voice positioning in the mix is somewhat unclear, but otherwise it is totally enjoyable. Maybe it is the higher end SACD player that I bought, and am not yet used to, but I doubt that is all of it. I just sit and relax and marvel at Krall's voice on this disc. Highly recommended.

Just bought this SACD last week. As always, Diana performs well with her amazing voice. But sonically, I'm a little disappointed. My gear doesn't support multichannel & so it's the stereo that I'm referring to. As a single layer SACD, I expected better sound than that.
