I'm disappointed by this SACD. Indeed there are also great sounding songs inside with a very good recording quality, but it is not that outstanding that I would recommended it as a ultimate demonstration disc. If you like dynamics you might remember even a couple of better sessions. The surround expression in my eyes is a bit spongy. During my listening session I interrupted to check out my surround system with another recording if it is still very well balanced - it is. Ok, some years are gone by since 2008, but even from before there are better demonstration discs available. Summing up I wouldn't donate a silver ear but maybe a bronze one especially if you like jazzy, bluesy songs for not-so-deep-listening-sessions.
