This Sampler was not what I expected. Tracks 1 - 6 are by singers that are only on the Linn Records catalogue Tracks 7 - 16 are Classical. I found myself flicking from track to track, as I was not gripped into finding a surround sound gem of a track that sounded any different to a normal recording. I thought that a 5.1 SACD was going to change music as heard on a normal Stereo system. Don`t get me wrong as this Linn sample is Clear and recorded DDD at it`s best but the tracks chosen on this disc have let it down.
The Singers Tracks 1-6 are: Claire Martin, Judith Owen, Barb Jungr, Carol Kidd, Claire Martin and Ian Shaw.
The Classic tracks 7 - 16 are from Composers: Liszt, Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov, Gurney, Handel, Hahn, MacMillan, Poulenc, Vivaldi and De Murcia.
Do try and enjoy this sampler as the price is low and was recored in 2007. Total playing time 57.04
