Performance:  Sonics (S):
Mr. Kazuhito has his own particular style of playing. It's rythmic and quick at times and relaxed at other moments. The way he tunes his guitar or the make of said guitar will also influence how it sounds. Sony Classical has done a stellar job in this 2 sacd release by the artist. Recorded in pure dsd the sound has warmth, character...a feeling of the venue it was recorded in and some passion in the guitar playing.

There is a lot of music to be had here as each sacd is approximately 72 minutes long. One could easily relax and get absorbed in the playing for the better part of the day...especially a rainy one.

Good job Sony. Now if you would only commit to sacd you would make us a lot happier.
