great music and very good sonics.
IMO it one of the best sounds from the Fantazy reissue series.

While this is not a review of Wes's "The incredible jazz guitar", I was disappointed in the sonics associated with that album. I expected his guitar to jump out of my speakers. It did not.

I'm happy to report that "Bags meets Wes" meets and exceeds expectations on a performance and sonics level. His guitar is crisp and clean, the vibes are right in your face and the rythm section of Kelly and the Jones boys is beyond reproach. No glare in the upranges, tight bass line and great drumming. Full, natural sound.

A must have if your a Wes Montgomery fan!
