Sonics:
stereo sonics: psychodelic Kraut-Rock at its best in the typical dry 70´s sound with lack of warmth. But I think it is the best sound that you can get from that recordings.

Performance:  Sonics:
Good sound, but not great--likely due to poor source material. Funky music. For me, it works better in my car than in my home SACD system (unless I'm cleaning the kitchen with it on in the background.) The music makes me want to drive fast and faster. Again, while the SACD sound is better than the redbook layer, it isn't by much. Still, pretty interesting stuff.
