Although I'm not quite familiar with the group, I have to say this album is a treasure.
The quality of the tracks are absolutely astonishing, the noise were wisely attacked without removing it completely so it has a "vintage" sound.

Of course, we must not forget that this is a Telarc album, and that means to edge of top quality in sound, so I just can't expect for more. And combined with top-level artists like The Transfer... well I think I can die now xD--

I've liked Transfer in the past, but these were second rate songs with third rate arrangements. This may sound better in surround, but the imaging seemed contrived in two-channel. The voices are great, but they seldom sounded like an ensemble, just a mix of very fine voices.
