Monteverdi is one of the outstanding composers of all ages. His sacred music contains among the gems of his compositional catalogue. Volume 2 of the Monteverdi Sacred works follows the high standards of the King´s Consort in this music, and their achievements in Vol. 1.

The recording, as is the standard with Hyperion, is crystal clear, all the voices heard with detail. What a gorgeous disc!.
