I remember liking the Piano Concerto, however Symphony No.5 is just 2nd rate.. the BSO just lack the versatility that others have used in this piece. Sorry :)

I love the sound of the piano on this recording. It's so full and clear. On this SACD you can actually hear the overtones of the piano. The strings are also very well recorded in the concerto.

I don't like the sound on the 5th Symphony as much. I found things a little to bright and glassy. The performance of the 5th is also somewhat average.
