Performance:  Sonics:
As far as I'm concerned, this is a reference performance and recording of Carmina Burana. The singing and playing is amazing and very exciting. The rhythms and feeling on the performance are sensitive and exciting.

The orchestra is perfectly recorded. The strings have a very velvety "live" quality that I wish all recordings had. The brass is very sharp and exciting. The percussion is very clear and succinct, not like an echo chamber. The gong and bells are captured well and you can hear their overtones clearly. A joy!

Highly recommended.
