Wow.....this is a signature sounding SACD folks ! Brilliant recording quality with Mr Costello's voice sound like he is right in your living room !

All songs were written by Elvis C. and were arranged and conducted by him as well. His choice of chord progressions are very angular and interesting and although is delivered in a very clean and smooth way has enough bite and character to keep youv ery interested in listening and re-listening to this album.

I dont think NORTH did very well on the sales chart front at the time with his crossover to crooning and classical symphonia stylings but all aspects really work for me.

Sonically this one is highly recommended.....musically very good but you will need to like his voice i think to really dig this album.........

Absolutely a stunning recording! Very tasteful full orchestral arrangements. Mixing is just perfect and in no way too extreme. My best SACD so far! Recommended!!!
