Performance:  Sonics (S):
The Amazon review starts " For gods sake buy this..."They were right.The history of Shelby Lynnes little sister who also adds her voice on three tracks is sadly interesting.This was one of my only success sacd wise in the Nashville area visit and it took two plays before I was hooked.
The startling thing seemed how similair her voice and Cher sound on a number of tracks.I admit to liking Live music or performances rather than sit at home nit picking about this and that..I started listening to live music long before I became obsessed with super hifi.....All tracks are excellent or above though some standout. Bring me all your lovin .A soft place to Fall and Alahbama song stick out.Im not overstruck on Lonesome Bobs contribution on one track as he sings so flat it was a suprise she stayed in key...The cd version also comes with a dvd video and extra track Cold cold earth also a belter not on the CD .this DVD seems to be 48hz /20- Sonics wise its 4.5 stars from a biased "I want more Moorer and C&W items on sacd."Performance would have been a good alternative title...
