It is a very good idea. I am hoping it will affect the posts of some pots here who have shown an amusing tendency to tell the kettles that they are black. Not that such statements of themselves are "reportable" but those characteristics which make both kettle and pot black; maybe those things will get scrubbed clean!
According to you then, any hint of sarcasm and criticism in a post should be promptly reported, being that you equate these to explicit foul language. On that vein, I'm sure we can count on you, Luke, to diligently click the report button and inform Obi-Wan Kenobi of any disturbance in the (SA-CD.net) Force.
As for me, I'm with George Orwell when he said that "freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." Or as Tailspn wisely wrote in the previous page, "there goes the entertainment value around here."

"Report" buttons are intended for sites that have millions of users/pages/etc ... so much that moderator(s) cannot possibly check it all.
I am not sure what purpose a report button provides here ... the forum content is quite small, and I find I can easily read most of the daily updates, if so inclined. A site moderator could easily do so, so I don't see why anything has to be specially 'reported'.
i.e. what has changed? Or is zeus saying he doesn't read the threads??

I do not see how you arrived at your conclusion "According to you then, any hint ..."
Na that is not what I was saying! But when someone tells you to "go masturbate" or what ever it was that jonalogic said to (you I believe) then (I think) that is offensive and should be reported. It has nothing to do with "hint of sarcasm or criticism"

Well, in the context of this thread, your quote "which make both kettle and pot black" could be construed as a simplistic generalization. Either way, my apologies for the misunderstanding. May the force be with you, or if you prefer, live long and prosper...

And miss out on off-topic, next-big-thing discussions and people who can't get on sniping with each other?

Majority of them in the "Where have all the members gone?" thread? Other topics are basically dead... (no new replies in 2-3 days)

Well, you know, maybe people are actually at home listening to their SACDs rather than posting about them!
Bum, bum!

I wonder if the music industry has lack of interest on SACD. I can't find players in my country, and the discs are available only by importing them. I'd really love to know this technology. :-(
