I can say in all honesty that the sandwiches made by the staff at the Palace of Arts in Budapest are nothing to write home about....
That is a pity because Hungarian cuisine in general is very rich, interesting, and memorable. In particular steamed cow's hoof has imprinted itself permanently on my palate. Hopefully next time!
I doubt it's good for SQ though. Made the eyelids pretty heavy and can only wonder what it does to one's hearing ability. But it seemed to have the word "Grim" written all over it.

But then again I did not travel all the there for the food! Since I now use batteries to power the mike pre amplifiers, the power chords are really a non issue! jared
Yeah but there are some good places near their rehearsal hall in Pecs. Mebbe that helps with the preparation. ;-)

Maybe the type of power chords should be specified
I just love the image of Mahler and power CHORDS!
Much more effective than any heavy metal band ;)

You got me there.
My excuse is that music was on my mind.

That's a little troublesome to hear. Who knows what kind of havoc low blood sugar could wreak on the sound quality.

There is a superb and affordable fish restaurant at Belgrad rakpart near the Elisabeth Bridge so why settle for the sarnies?
For heaven's sake man, add a $1 to each Fischer disc and buy yourself a decent lunch... and some fresh Duracells

September 12 for the US. For those interested, the full range of download versions, including stereo and multichannel DSD, will be available August 1 on the Channel Classics site.

If I was a vindictive person, I'd pull all of the posts from people claiming that multichannel DSD downloads were still years away.

One swallow doesn't make a summer. Besides, there are still no USB DACs and/or music servers capable of handling multichannel dsd. If things on the DSD downloads (or any m.ch. downloads for that matter) front continue to progress at the current pace, they will have become a viable alternative to SACD maybe in 50 or 100 years........
