Does anyone know who the artist is ... featured on the Time Out original cover?

It would presumably be the same artist featured on the Charles Mingus disc (pic above):

Charles Mingus: Mingus Ah Um

That would be S. Neil Fujita. Here's a link if you would like a high quality digital print (no affiliation):

Thanks! How interesting. There's a nice page on Sadamitsu Neil Fujita here:

He even did one of the Glenn Gould covers (for the Berg/Schoenberg LP) which I have (!) on the original jacket CD re-release.

Very interesting when the discussion here extends beyond the music to cover art! These are rare threads.

Well, with the exception of Wish You Were Here, at least AP adheres to the SACD super jewel box packaging.

My only objection is the price they charge for their custom boxes to house those jewel boxes.......Are they manufacturered by Cartier or Tiffany?

So how does it sound compared to the original SACD release?

Looks like this....

The Analog Production release is listed has having multi-channel content. Is this a 5 channel or a 3 channel release?

According to a poster on the Steve Hoffman forum, it's a 5.0 mix like on the Sony SACD. The channels of the 3-track tape are on the front channels, and some artificial ambience was added on the rear channels.
