OT - I've heard of Lynyrd Skynyrd, but am totally unaware of their music. Perhaps I should investigate and see what I think, as I'm always on the look-out for new/more hi-res stuff.

On that note, I also wonder what Robert Fripp's "Follow" album might be like.

Just received my copy of the DVD~A of "Follow" from Amazon UK and a preliminary listen was rather underwhelming. The sound, of course, is first rate but it's soothing, ambient music.

I was never a big Lynyrd Skynyrd Fan but the package put together for this exclusive Walmart release was pretty impressive.

On November 5th, I should also have the latest DVD~A of Lark Tongues in Aspic from King Crimson and look forward to sharing my impressions.

I've never been a Skynrd fan but I thoroughly enjoy their Southern Surround album. Sonics are good , surround is good and while I'm not crazy about the songs I've never heard them sound better and I have more respect for them. I've played the album a whole lot more than I ever expected too. I would recommend it for fans of southern/hard/classic rock.

The video on DVD is very well done and I think you'll enjoy that, too, 5.1surr. A great package for a great price.
