Done, here is what I posted:
"SACD, DVD-Audio or high resolution download would be fine by me. The DVD-Audio of Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "Brain Salad Surgery" had a bonus cut "Lucky Man" from ELP's first album and that was the highlight of the disc for me. I would love to have ELP's complete first album in high resolution."

Do you really think ELP would re-record their 42 year old first LP digitally? Would there be enough market for it?

No way AmonRa, you MISREAD my post completely. I want the original PURE ANALOG recording in a high resolution digital format. No need for them to rerecord it.
If you haven't heard ELP's "Brain Salad Surgery" on DVD-Audio you have no clue how great these analog recordings from ELP are!

Well, then you only get the low-res late sixties tape quality. Those tapes have about 12 bit resolution at most, like it or not. High-res?

I'd love ELPs albums to be available on SACD or DVD-A - preferably with multi-channel audio. Some of these older recordings can sound amazingly good on a hi-res format. Good examples are "In The Court Of The Crimson King" by King Crimson - or "Love" by The Beatles. There are many other examples.

Hello Burning Shed (UK) taking pre-orders for the first 2 albums: ELP and Tarkus right now. These will be available from 16th of July this year as 2cd/dvd sets with the same treatment as for King Crimson eg. Steven Wilson:Mixing + Neil Wilkes:Authoring

How do you know that Neil Wilkes is authoring these releases? Last I had heard from him, just two weeks ago, he said he'd love to author these discs but he hadn't been asked to do it...
