I share Castor's enthusiasm for this disc. The musicianship is phenomenal and grips your attention throughout the excellent selection of pieces. Bottesini was a splendid tune-smith, and all the music here is warm and happy. Channel's engineering presents a solid image in a distinctive acoustic, with tremendous deep bass definition. Truly an SA-CD not to be missed!

Looks like Hurwitz agrees with you, Earthman. Incredibly positive review on Classics Today. I may have to make the plunge on this....
