Thanks. Nice to see the recording resolution stated on the cover (24/96 for the Saint-Saens; pure DSD for the Clausen).

In such cases, where the recording resolution is provided by the label, the information should be added to the SA-CD.net database IMHO

The use of 96/24 touches on the point made earlier about the SNO, whether this is a preference of theirs or just that the studio they use is set up that way, who knows but the policy seems to cross labels. It seems when Chandos do the recording themselves they always use DSD.

As you say, good on them for stating what was used.

They are not on Amazon yet

The links don't work for me. But I am looking forward to the Saint-Saens release.

Me too, finally the orchestral version of "Danse macabre" in high resolution from a non-japanese SACD, thus affordable! And all the other short Saint-Saens masterworks. Danse macabre is by far my favorite piece by Saint-Saens.

SoundMirror does DSD so that's consistent.

Huh, and I need March du Couronnement too.

Nice to have the other symphonic poems and overtures in SACD as well (though the march is already on the Cala disc...)

Chandos really seems to be stepping up SACD releases recently. Bravo to them.
