Thanks, Paul - where did you learn this? Curious about the artists involved.
Tom
Tom, it was on amazon uk, coming up under "date of release" search with other Linn discs being released between Sept and Nov. However, it now seems to have vanished from the site, so whilst I'm optimistic, am also a little confused.

Tom, just thought to check with my amazon wishlist and the ensemble is listed as the Fitzwilliam Quartet, once of Shostie Qts fame (though that was q a few incarnations ago). Release date is November 5. Cheers, paul

This is FWSQ number six or seven, by my count. Founding member and violist George Alan, who appears to be my age, soldiers on and on.... Violinist Lucy Russel has been a Fitz for 24 years and primarius since 1995 -- but the newest violinist Colin Scobie was BORN in 1991! As some of you may recall, I have a special fondness for cellists (I married one): I was intrigued to note that Heather Tuach, who joined the quartet in 2008, is from "the west coast of Newfoundland" -- I myself will soon be relocating to that same west coast. Perhaps we'll cross paths....

It is an SACD. The Bruckner is interesting, although completely uncharacteristic for him - the Rott is quite wild, at least what I have heard thus far.
