Interesting.

Kind of weird that Abbado should have two Tchaikovsky Fifths on Sony, plus one on Deutsche Grammophon, all at fairly close time intervals of each other.

This Abbado comes from 1994.

All the titles I listed would appear to be PCM recordings, mostly from the nineties. So maybe not so great sonically.

I happen to have the Beethoven 9th with Abbado and Kleibers New Years concert on CD.The Beethoven recorded in 1996 was done in 20 bit technology and should therefore clearely benefit from SACD.The Kleiber does not mention the recording format but stemming from 1992 i suppose it was done with more than 16/44.1
Besides that in remixing of multitracks to DSD even 16bit recordings can profit because on the multitrack each track can be recorded at maximum level,which is no longer the case when levels are adjusted in the mix according to musical balances.If the mix is done to a 16 bit master the S/N ratio of pp tracks may become rather low,whereas on a resulting DSD master the S/N ratio would be good even on quiet tracks.
Therefore from a technical point fo view there is no reason for these recordings not to sound good.
However i think it shouldnt be forgotten that the recorded sound depends largely on the recording venue and mike set-up chosen (and other variabels in the recording chain) and not so much on the storage media itself which only has to keep losses as small as possible.
Relating the sound quality to DSD and SACD as such could be counterproductive since customers could derive from bad recordings or inadequate surround mixes that the format itself is no good.
It should be said instead that SACD has the potential to transfer the full quality of the best recordings,but that quality has to be there from the start.

The Bernstein Shostakovich 5th is presumably the live concert recording given in Tokyo in July 1979. An excellent performance, including some editing obtained from reheasals for the concert.
