I'm not clear whether that would include EMI Classics (as Arnaldo's link indicated needed to be sold) or not. Nor for that matter, Virgin Classics. Oh, for an insider!

Analogue Productions should buy Blue Note and then reissue all the stuff on SACD :-)

I'd be surprised if Universal is looking to unload the Classical and Jazz divisions for little more than peanuts (relatively speaking), perhaps some assumed liabilities or something.
Anyone want to get together, issue some junk bonds, and buy it? :p
