SSR's LSO version will be recorded in DSD. Could be worth the wait.

What did you mean? Another LSO Live recording, or something else? It would be nice to know.

Many but not all of the Rattle EMI SACD releases were multichannel. The disk rear and obi state stereo but this is not the case as there is an intact multichannel area on the disks. The very recent Rattle discs are stereo from memory. i will check my records for the handful i have. I cannot say anything factual about the Warner reissues/packaging of the same. In the disc booklet the 5.0 recording is noted in most cases. There have been discussions here in the past about this, try using Google to search this site. Im pretty sure i posted images of said booklet.

Alas, the Rattle Bruckner 9 SACD was stereo only with only a very modest improvement in sound quality over the RBCD.
