Not sure this is the right place to post this. I'm looking for a copy in good or better condition, but please, at a reasonable price.
Thanks so much!

So...my copy is worth $300? Nice.
How much is reasonable?

I don't think so :) Least not in my book...

Fair enough, but how much is reasonable? I doubt many people are looking to part with a lovely out-of-print SACD for anything like list price.

You know, have at it, but it's really not that great a performance. Stravinsky's own (I believe on SACD) or Dutoit's are far better with regard to capturing the atmosphere, eroticism, poetry etc. IMHO.

This is interesting. I believe original list was somewhere in the 20 dollar plus range. I figure a fair reasonable price would be around 35 dollars or so, give or take. I did see one go on ebay a little while ago for 25 or so dollars. 100 dollars, no thanks :)

Then you're not being fair or reasonable. I sold the Starker JS Bach Cello Suites for $100 6 months ago. Anything out of print has a higher price. You want it, you pay for it at the going value of the item in question. Someone here recently bought Bigg's Bach Organ music for at least that amount or more.

This raises a conundrum for our community because none of us should feel the need to get rich quick at the expense of fellow SACD aficionados and collectors especially those we have got to know.
Zeus however wants no part in a disc mart amongst ourselves so if we have discs to dispose of it usually has to be Amazon or e-bay and let's be fair nobody on there is doing any of us any favours at all. I have noticed higher and higher quotes each time I show an interest in a particular disc and worse, often they try to steer me towards these discs!
In the end this has to be a matter for individual judgement so
(1) Set a price limit above which you will not move;
(2) Never put yourself in a position where wanting becomes an obsession - leave that to kids - if you can't have it, move on, plenty more 'fish in the sea' as we say over here;
(3) Don't set yourself a timescale like "I want it and I want it now, boo-hoo"
Who knows, what goes around comes around and one day you may get exactly the disc you want at a price you can afford and hey! guess what? - maybe by then you won't really care enough anymore and not bother and wonder why you got all screwed up in the first place...
As for this disc... "It's alright I suppose... "
By the way, I have the CD version as well which you can have for nothing if can find.

John,
I agree, and we really haven't gotten into it in the past about selling our discs and I respect Stephen's stand on that. I was mostly responding to what people consider fair and equitable for an OOP disc. I would put it on ebay if I really wanted to sell it, and not necessarily to get rich quick. Consider this my last post on the matter either way.
