This is mouth-watering. Does anyone know if this will be released on sacd in the states? Anyone in Europe care to offer a review (cd or sacd)? Much appreciated.

Hi Zomax, got my SACD from amazon.de yesterday and all-in-all its a nice record, more or less what you expect from E.S.T.
I currently listen to the DSD 2Channel track and it doesn't lack anything in terms of clarity or dynamics.
I have currently no option to check-out the Multichannel one, so bare with me on this.
Cheers, Tjobbe

Thanks Tjobbe. Sounds good. Now I just have to wait for the dollar to rise against he euro -- amazon.de wants almost as much to ship the cd to the states as they want for the cd itself. If you hear the MC mix, I'd be interested to know if it's "adventurous" or not.

For whatever reason, there's plenty of SA-CDs that are only available directly from Germany so you may want to think about spreading your shipping costs over a few. The Caro Mitis titles are excellent and don't get the recognition they deserve (I just ordered another batch myself). Also Windminister: Bootsmann looks interesting.

thanks zeus. the windminister looks interesting. I'd also be interested in the Gronemeyer disc, but that one's 24 euros. ($30 bucks is about where I draw the line).
