It's even worse. Probably the most execrable Zarathustra I've ever heard. Lacklustre performance and very odd recording. Avoid at all costs.

Well, after many years of avoiding this disc, the cancellation of the Luisi/Dresden version has lead me to order it. Pretty good price at mdt. We will see if it is as terrible as advertised.

Also, since I ordered it, we are guaranteed some other company will announce an SACD release of ASZ very shortly :)
