I hope it's not limited to Region A. I won't use it for SACDs, but if it is as good with DVD as the Oppo 983, it would be the perfect video player.

Exciting news on this one. the Anchor Bay video chipset will definetely let me move my denon 2900 SACD player and my Panasonic BD30 player down to the living room to free up room in my theater rack for just one player. If its legal to post, here is the thread following it at AVSForum:

Hopefully not -- prototypes in my experience usually look a lotter better than actual products. This one for sure looks better than Oppo's other players.
