If Telarc is not getting out of the SACD business they should be! Some label, and I would hope that it will be Telarc, is going to make a fortune when they start recording and releasing Blu-Ray music dvds with 1080p video and high-resolution audio in Dolby True HD, 5.1 and/or DTs Master Audio, 5.1. Some of my favorite DVDs are Classical pieces in Dolby Digital, 5.1. It adds to the over-all music experiance to, not only hear the performers but, see them as well. One EXCELLANT example is MTT and the SFO series titled Keeping Score. Included is Tchaikovsky sym.#4 and Stravinskys Rite Of Spring. These are great in DD 5.1 but would be MAGNIFICENT in one of the high-res. "codecs" with 1080p video.
I agree with Windsurfer, I mostly listen with my eyes closed and have no need for video.

Couldn't agree more. The idea of listening to ,say, a symphony with visuals of the conductor waiving his arms about and close ups of the players is ridiculous. BD has great potential for opera and ballet, but for concert music, no way!

Such as Fourplay: Energy already added to this site, and Revolutionary - Cameron Carpenter yet to be added. Both out in September. There's more titles yet be confirmed.
Having attended a Carpenter concert, I think he certainly lives up to the hype. So I'm glad to see that Telarc has signed a contract with him.
Hopefully his arrangement of the Mahler 5 will make it to SACD.
