I'm on my third copy of this recording, and each has had the same defect, namely, although labeled correctly as "Disc 1" and "Disc 2", they both have the same musical content (Act 1 and the beginning of Act 2) - the second half of the opera is missing! I've written BMG/Sony about this, but their response appears to be in the same place as the real "Disc 2". Has anyone had a similar experience with this SACD?

Is it a US pressing?

I don't know about the 2 sets I've already returned, but as to the one I still have, I don't see anything on the CD that indicates where it was manufactured, however, the back cover states that is was printed in the U.S.

The defect could be limited to a certain run of the US pressing. WolfE is from Germany, so he probably has the european pressing.

I finally received a complete copy from Amazon.com. I'm still waiting for a repy from Sony/BMG.
